2024 school placements: Over 447,000 students automatically admitted

The Ministry of Education has announced the release of the 2024/25 Senior High School and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) placement results.
Out of 563,339 results received from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), 553,155 candidates qualified for placement. Of these, 447,698 (80.93%) were automatically placed in one of their selected schools, the Ministry said in a statement.
However, 104,918 qualified candidates were not matched to any of their selected choices. These students are encouraged to use the self-placement platform to choose a school.
Students can check their placement by visiting the official CSSPS website at [https://www.cssps.gov.gh](https://www.cssps.gov.gh) or [https://www.cssps.org](https://www.cssps.org). They should enter their ten-digit index number, followed by the completion year (for example, 123456789024), click “Submit,” and view their placement results.
For assistance, the public can go to the National Solution Centre at GNAT Hall, Adabraka, Accra, or any of the 16 Regional Solution Centres, or call the helpline at 0308258001.
