Vice Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mathew Opoku Prempeh widely known as NAPO has urged the party in the Ashanti region to close its ranks.
He is of the firm belief that with the needed unity, the party’s target of 85% in the region is possible.
The man popularly known as NAPO made this known when he addressed the party faithful at the launch of the Ashanti region campaign.

At the formal inauguration of the Ashanti Regional 2024 Campaign Working Committees and Women Conference today, I reminded party faithfuls of the strategic importance of the region in the NPP’s electoral fortunes. I urged party members to close our ranks and forge a united front with the common objective of ensuring an emphatic victory for the NPP.
Our ambitious target of 85% valid votes for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia remains on course and, together, we shall make history
