Nana Gyamfi III, the Pampasohene of the Ashanti Region, has pledged his support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearer, during a recent visit as part of Bawumia’s regional campaign tour ahead of Ghana’s presidential elections on December 7.

The visit, marked by a colourful durbar in Bawumia’s honour, saw the traditional leader openly express his confidence in Bawumia’s leadership qualities, emphasizing that his efforts would win significant support from the electorate.

“Your courage, your commitment, and your diligence have not gone unnoticed,” Nana Gyamfi said, addressing Bawumia. “These qualities will surely lead you to success, and I have no doubt that the people of Ghana, particularly those of us here, are ready to support your vision for a brighter future.”

The Pampasohene’s endorsement comes as Bawumia continues to solidify his presence across the country, gathering momentum in his quest for the presidency.

The chief’s words resonated deeply with local citizens, many of whom gathered to hear from both the leader and the candidate. “We are here today because we believe in Dr. Bawumia,” Nana Gyamfi continued. “We trust that his leadership will bring progress to Ghana, and we are proud to stand by him.”
