You don’t like God’s blessings if you don’t take advantage of Bawumia’s genius – Ocquaye to Ghanaians

Former Speaker of Parliament, Mike Oquaye Snr has told Ghanaians that if they don’t take advantage of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s gift, they don’t like to be blessed.

He made this known when Dr Mahamudu Bawumia took his campaign to Dome Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region.

Mike Oquaye Snr recalled the role Dr Mahamudu Bawumia had played in Ghana’s political space, especially in the 2012 election petition that set the tone for pink sheets to be given the needed attention and recognition.

“When there were controversies about election matters and we had gathered a lot of information. Frank Davies and others had tolied, but how to put it together into an accepted formula for court, that work was done by Dr Bawumia. Today he has one more name called Mr Pink Sheet.

All matters as to how we use pink sheets in order to look after the controversies of elections, that was the man who stood in court. You and I were not there. You could see the star in him. I say it is a gift. if you don’t take advantage of such a gift then you don’t want the good things in life. You hate the blessings of God,” he said.
