Ghana international Jordan Ayew has called on Leicester City fans to continue their support as the team strives to meet their goals for the season.

Despite a rocky start in the Premier League, with a 1-1 draw against Tottenham and a 2-1 loss to Fulham, Ayew remains optimistic about the team's potential. Leicester recently achieved a 4-0 victory over Tranmere Rovers in the EFL Cup, with Ayew marking his debut goal for the club.

Since joining Leicester from Crystal Palace on a two-year contract, Ayew has expressed confidence in the impact of the new signings and the team's prospects for a successful season. He emphasized the importance of fan backing, particularly during challenging periods.

“I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far, even in the game against Fulham, despite the loss,” Ayew said in an interview with the club's website. “I feel comfortable and welcomed, and I’m excited about this season. It’s crucial for us to have a strong season as a team, and we have a great squad, so I’m positive about what’s ahead.”

Ayew also highlighted the vital role of fan support in creating a formidable home advantage.

“We especially need the fans to stand by us because this season will be tough. We’ll face challenges, but having their backing will be crucial. The key is for us to deliver strong performances, and the wins will follow.

“All games are important for us, so we need the crowd to stay positive, especially during our home matches. We want to make our home ground a fortress, and that’s what we’re aiming to do,” he added.

After his goal against Tranmere Rovers, Ayew is eager to make his Premier League debut for Leicester City in their upcoming match against Aston Villa.
