Legon Cities Head Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has revealed that his team does not sign players but instead recruits from Ghana’s fourth tier to play in the Ghana Premier League.While most clubs in the top flight are actively signing players ahead of the 2024/25 Ghana football season in September 2024, the Royals have not made any major signings.Legon Cities narrowly escaped relegation last season with 45 points, just one ahead of Great Olympics, who did not survive the drop.Ahead of the new season, Legon Cities have not made significant acquisitions to avoid relegation. However, Fabin has stated that his team will rely on Second Division players.“At Legon Cities, we don’t make signings, we only recruit Second Division players. Last season, we did same and it worked out.“We picked Tenedu from Ebony FC in Kumasi and he is now star. That is what Legon Cities is made off,” he added.Legon Cities are currently preparing for the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League campaign, which commences next month.
