The Wenchi-based side secured their place in Ghana's top football division with a dramatic victory over Techiman Heroes in the Division One League Zone 1 play-off at the Accra Spots Stadium.

Young Apostles played out a 1-1 draw with Techiman Heroes after extra-time and went on to win the game on penalties to book Premier League spot.

Speaking ahead of their debut appearance in the Ghanaian top-flight, the former Executive Council member of the Ghana FA promised to grab points in their first five games as they to seek to make impact.

“We are going to grab the points that we deserve in our first five Ghana Premier League games. We know the points we will accumulate but we won’t make it public because we are going to compete with several clubs”
