Dancehall Artiste, Shatta Wale has, for the first time in his career, performed in Jamaica.
He performed on the same stage with Vybez Kartel, who has been his icon for several years.
Although Shatta Wale performed just three of his numerous songs, the dancehall Artiste sees this as an opportunity to sell his brand to the international community.
While performing, Shatta Wale, who could not hide his joy at the achievement, knelt down and expressed how he was grateful to be put on the Freedom Street concert by Vybez Kartel.
“Thank you so much, I’ve never performed in Jamaica before this is my first time. I’ve always wished to perform with you on stage God bless you, Jamaica I love you,” he said.
