Black Princesses coach, Yussif Basigi has expressed his readiness ahead of the 2024 FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup.Ghana's U-20 female national team are currently in Colombia preparing for the Mundial and has already played two friendly matches.The Princesses drew goalless against Mexico in their first match before drawing 2:2 against South Korea on Tuesday evening.After the games, Basigi is convinced his side is ready for the battle ahead."This has been an improved game as compared to the first one. The FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup will kick off in Colombia from Saturday, August 31 - Sunday, September 22, 2024.
Ghana's first game is against Austria on September 2 while they will also face New Zealand and Japan in Group E.
Meanwhile, Stella Nyamekye has been named as the new captain for the team.
