State corporations have been directed to seek express approval from the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, before any major decision is taken.
This is because a statement from the Presidency dated January 13, 2025, announced the dissolution of all Boards, Councils and committees appointed by former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
The statement further indicated that new boards will be reconstituted in due course according to their enabling laws.
Meanwhile, commissions that are independent constitutional creations are not a part of the dissolved commissions.
