 Samini’s ‘Gyae shi’ song inspired me to stop smoking weed – Pappy Kojo

Ghanaian hip-pop artist Jason Gaisie, popularly known as Pappy Kojo has disclosed that he stopped smoking weed after listening to Samini’s popular track “Gyae Shi” when he was 13 years old.

Pappy Kojo, who was a guest on Kingdom FM monitored by MyNewsGh.com, disclosed that he used to smoke weed when he was an adolescent. According to him, most of his friends were older than him and hence were able to influence him to smoke and drink alcohol.

According to the artist, although he stopped smoking weed, his cravings for alcoholic beverages did not cease. He further disclosed how he was taken to rehab in Italy for two years after his situation became worse.

“I had a problem; I was addicted to drinking.  I was in rehab for two years. I was hiding and drinking so I drank for 8 years. And I used to smoke weed too due to the calibre of friends I had. But I stopped smoking weed when I listened to Samini’s Gyae Shi when I was 13 years old “. He revealed.
