President Mahama requests comprehensive report on Ghana Football from GFA – Reports

Angel Sports is reporting that the John Dramani Mahama administration has put in a formal request to the Ghana Football Association to provide a detailed report on the state of Ghana Football.

It will be recalled that John Dramani Mahama, during the 2024 campaign, assured Ghanaians of bringing back the lost glory in sports if voted as president of Ghana.

Reports in the local media suggest that the President has started efforts to bring back Ghana’s lost glory by demanding a report on the state of football in the country.

The Ghana Football Association, according to reports, is also ready to present a comprehensive 75-page document detailing the state of football in the country to help the president address the issues.

For the first time in a long while, Ghana’s Black Stars failed to qualify for AFCON 2025. The country also failed to qualify for CHAN.

What’s even worrying is that a few months before the Women’s African Cup of Nations, Ghana’s Black Queens are without a coach, as their coach has been announced as the coach of the Zambian female national team.
