Flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has acknowledged that Ghanaians are suffering.
However, he indicates that the current government has provided some social interventions to ameliorate the hardship they are currently facing.
He made this known when he was answering questions on whether Ghanaians are still suggesting, as he said in 2016.
“The suffering is there, it’s not gone, but there are a lot of social interventions to reduce the suffering,” he said.
Dr Mahamudu Bawumia was speaking to the media in Accra on August 25, 2024.
