Veteran coach JE Sarpong has voiced his support for Black Stars coach Otto Addo following the announcement of his squad for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Angola.Sarpong believes that Addo has the country's best interests at heart and deserves full backing from all Ghanaians.He emphasized that the coach's decisions are made with careful consideration of Ghana's chances in the qualifiers.Sarpong also spoke positively about the team's prospects moving forward."The coach is in charge of the team he has gone round and selected his players for his team so officially I cant say anything about the selection. Because he knows what is good for the country so it he has given his team lets just back him and let us see what happens," he told Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.comGhana will open camp on September 2 to prepare for their first clash against Angola. Following this, the team will travel to face Niger on September 9th. Ghana is grouped with Angola, Sudan, and Niger in Group F.
