The National Service Scheme has cleared April payment after personnel declared strike today July 3, 2024.
National Service Personnel until today were owed April, May and June allowances by the Secretariat.
Some Concerned National Service Personnel who have had to suffer the brunt declared a nationwide strike over the delayed payments.
But the National Service Personnel Association in a statement said payment for April allowances has been cleared and will be reflected in their accounts by Friday.
The statement from the Association said they are negotiating with the Secretariat to get all payments done and urged personnel not to vacate their posts.
