NPP’s Girls Girls urged to develop themselves for opportunities under Bawumia

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Helen Ama Daku has encouraged women in the New Patriotic Party to develop themselves.

According to her, it’s only self development that will provide them the opportunities in the political party and everywhere they find themselves.

Helen Ama Daku was speaking at the Girls Girls gathering in Accra on September 29, 2024.

She touted the passing of the Affirmative action Bill indicating that Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will implement it to the latter to provide opportunities for women.

She remarked “Women will be give 30% of the opportunities available. if you have a first degree, ensure that you develop yourself because that is the only way you can be prepared for opportunities.

Dr Bawumia will win the election and will implement it to the latter. He has said that he will give opportunities to people from the constituency level and so if it is politics you want to do, you have to start volunteering in your constituency because if he comes there and you are not known there you won’t get these kind of opportunities,” he emphasised.
