President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is optimistic of the New Patriotic Party winning the 2024 election.
According to him, the political party has an excellent ticket which will convince the people of Ghana to maintain the NPP.
”The National Council has just endorsed the nomination of Mathew Opoku Prempeh to be the running mate of Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. The NPP has an excellent ticket and we are going to win with this ticket in 2024 December 7, that’s the news,” he said.
He continued “the feeling is good, they make a good pair and they are going to win”.
The National Council of the New Patriotic Party endorsed the flagbearer’s choice of a running mate on July 4, 2024.
He is expected to be unveiled on July 9, 2024 in the Ashanti region after which the party will start the second phase of their campaign.
