NPP Gov’t has stolen the public purse they said they will protect – Mahama

Former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has urged all Ghanaians to come together to help remove the New Patriotic Party government from power.

He firmly believes the government has failed and should not be given any space near governance.

John Dramani Mahama, who made this known in a post shared via social media, indicated that even though the current government has poorly managed the country’s economy, they continue to insult the intelligence of Ghanaians by claiming to be the best managers of the economy.

What’s even worrying to John Dramani Mahama is the kind of economy that will be bequeathed to him when he takes over power in 2025.

He has assured Ghanaians that regardless of how bad the economy he will take over will be, he will be transparent with the people of Ghana and will ensure that everyone comes on board to help build the economy back to life.

“The economy is in shambles. I won’t deceive you because we are going to meet a very difficult situation. But we are going to open the books and show you what the true state of the economy is so that we work together to bring the economy back on track,” he said.

Adding that “they said they will protect the public purse, today they’ve stolen the whole purse. Those who promised to protect the purse have stolen the whole purse. So the time has come for accountability, the time has come for us to drive the elephant into the bush”.
