Loyal, truthful Bawumia won’t disappoint you – Akufo-Addo urges Ghanaians

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has vouched for the integrity and leadership acumen of Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. President Akufo-Addo stated that Dr Bawumia is loyal, truthful and trustworthy and will live up to expectation when he is elected President of Ghana.

He explained that his trust and confidence in Dr Bawumia stem from many years of working with him both in opposition and in power. He noted that for the last sixteen years Dr Bawumia has proved himself capable of leading the country into prosperity, urging Ghanaians to give him the nod come December 7, 2024 when they go to the polls to elect a new President and Parliament.

“Bawumia was working at the Bank of Ghana and I went and asked that he join me. Some people did see reason why I went for him. But today, it is evident to Ghanaians why I went for him. He is loyal, truthful and has never been dishonest in my work with him for past sixteen years. I know he will be truthful and faithful with Ghanaians as President,” he said in Pekyi as part of his tour of the Ashanti Region.

The President also praised the vice presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, as a capable running mate, stating that Dr Bawumia and Dr Opoku Prempeh constitute an unmatched pair that will emerge victorious after the general elections.
