Lawrence Agyekum expresses gratitude to Red Bull Salzburg after joining Cercle Brugge on loan
Ghanaian talent, Lawrence Agyekum, has expressed his gratitude to Red Bull Salzburg for the opportunity to develop his skills, as he embarks on a new journey with Cercle Brugge.The versatile midfielder, who can also play at right back, took to his official X page to share his feelings about the move."I thank God almighty for how far He has brought me," Agyekum wrote. "@RedBullSalzburg, I’m grateful for the opportunity given to me to showcase my talent. I really enjoyed the time spent with the club and the memories created."Agyekum, who stands at 1.74m, was trained at the Ghanaian 'West African Football Academy' before making the switch to RB Salzburg in 2022. He then had a loan spell at Austrian FC Liefering, where he played a total of 49 matches, scored 3 times, and provided 4 assists.Now, the talented youngster is set to continue his development with Cercle Brugge on a season-long loan. Agyekum has chosen the number 6 shirt at his new club and is looking forward to achieving its goals."It’s a new opportunity for me to continue my development with @cercleofficial," Agyekum added.
