Former Markerter for Ohemaa Mercy, Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu known popularly as KOKA has been granted bail by an Accra Circuit Court.
According to reports, he was granted bail to the tune of GHc 2000 with one surety.
KOKA was arrested by Ohemaa Mercy for threatening her life.
The musician who confirmed the arrest in a statement said the arrest had nothing to do with Becky of Joy News but rather threats on her life.
It emerged in court that KOKA had threatened to use thugs to take the money owed him by Ohemaa Mercy.
He is said to have been sending threatening messages to the gospel musician because she was reluctant to pay him an amount of Ghc 8,500 which she owed him after he decided to end their working relationship which started in 2021.
However, KOKA denied it indicating that he was just chasing monies owed him and would not have caused any harm to the artiste.
KOKA was remanded until September 26, when he was bailed.
