Ghana coach Otto Addo is worried about Jerome Opoku’s injury as he is set to miss the Black Stars game against Niger on Monday evening.The West Africa powerhouse will face Niger in their second game of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in Morocco.Opoku, who plies his trade for Istanbul Basaksehir withdrew from the squad after picking up an injury during training at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium last week.And Otto Addo has bemoaned the absence of defender for the crucial away game this evening.“We had some few issues and little injuries, but I think they are mostly OK. Except Jerome, I think he had serious back problems. I think his body could not adapt to the training ground in Kumasi”“It was very difficult for him. He had problems in training and now it was so serious that he could not train. He had to go back now to get special treatment from his club. It's a pity.
