Incompetent Mustapha Ussif still sports Minister because of his seat in Parliament—Kankam Boadu

Sports journalist Bright Kankam Boadu is of the strongest opinion that Mustapha Ussif has kept his position as Sports Minister because of his seat as a Member of Parliament.

To him, considering the shambolic running of sports during his tenure, he should have been sacked from the position long ago.

However, because of his ability to win the Yagaba Kubori seat and the fact that the NPP believes they can maintain that seat, he has been left at the sports ministry to oversee the destruction of sports in Ghana.

“Is this a sports minister? He is the worst the country has ever had. There is no leadership in sports in Ghana at the moment. He is there because of his seat. Nana Addo and Bawumia are helpless about the situation, but because they want to keep the seat they can’t act.

I’m shocked that up till today, they have not paid the people with disability who went to represent Ghana. These people brought glory to Ghana but no one even met them at the airport. Someone had to rent a bus to take them from the airport but this sports minister had the guts to talk to them anyhow.

All he is good at is to read speeches and be clapped for but the real work which is ensuring the sports in Ghana is developed has suffered under his watch. He is the worst thing to happen to sports in Ghana,” he said.
