Defender Samuel Amofa has shared his excitement after completing a move to Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak in the ongoing transfer window.The 25-year-old joins the Phobians from the Bibiani-based club ahead of the 2024/25 season.Amofa, who also played for Liberty Professionals in the Ghana Premier League, is expected to strengthen the defense of the club ahead of the new campaign.“I’m very happy to join Hearts of Oak, which is one of the biggest clubs on the African continent” he said.He becomes the club's third signing of the window, joining Asamoah Boateng Afriyie and Michael Awuah, both from Nations FC.The Phobians are currently preparing at the Kpobiman Sports Complex and will face Hearts of Lions in the Homowo Charity Cup on August 11.They are also expected to engage Medeama SC in a friendly five days later as part of the opening of the Tarkwa T&A Park.
