The coach of Samatex FC, Amadu Nurudeen has explained that they drew with Raj because they were wasteful upfront.
He is not happy his lads wasted chances, that they should have converted into goals.
Coach Nurudeen has, however, learnt from the game and studied their strategy and game plan, which he will use to beat them in the return leg.
“I’m not a happy person, but I think we didn’t disgrace ourselves. The equaliser in the second half was a gift to them because we didn’t defend well in that situation.
“We were wasteful in front of goal, and that cost us,” he said after the game.
Samatex drew with Raja Casablanca in Accra in the first leg of the ongoing CAF Champions League preliminary stage.
