Former Hearts of Oak captain Kofi Agbesimah believes his transfer to FC Samartex was destined to happen because of a previously failed move.The former Bechem United defender signed a two-year deal with the Ghana Premier League champions last week after deciding to force his way out of Hearts of Oak after just one season.Speaking after the transfer, the 28-year-old said revealed he held talks with the Samreboi-based club over a transfer years earlier and is trilled it has happened now."I was initially approached by former FC Samartex coach, Bismark Kobi Mensah, in Division One to join the club, but it didn't work out,” Agbesimah said as quoted by Sabastian Hayfron on Facebook.“I believe that I am destined to wear the colors of this great team, and I am incredibly proud of this move."Agbesimah’s move to FC Samartex is a notable one as the Samreboi-based side prepares for their debut CAF Champions League campaign following their Ghana Premier League triumph.
