Winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has expressed his enthusiasm about playing alongside Black Stars teammate Jordan Ayew.Ayew, who transferred from Crystal Palace to Leicester City on a two-year deal this summer, has joined Issahaku at the club.The addition of the 30-year-old is expected to enhance Leicester City's performance following their promotion to the Premier League.Having shared the pitch in the first four games of the season, Issahaku and Ayew are now set to reunite in the Black Stars squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger."He [Jordan Ayew] is always a senior player and I love playing with him. He always guides and gives you more advice and even outside and inside [on] the pitch so I’m happy," Issahaku told the media during the team's first training session on Monday."I think it’s going to be easier for me playing with him both in the national team and club."Ghana's match against Angola is set for September 5 at the Baba Yara Stadium, followed by a game against Niger on September 9 in Berkane, Morocco.

Winger Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has expressed his enthusiasm about playing alongside Black Stars teammate Jordan Ayew.

Ayew, who transferred from Crystal Palace to Leicester City on a two-year deal this summer, has joined Issahaku at the club.

The addition of the 30-year-old is expected to enhance Leicester City's performance following their promotion to the Premier League.

Having shared the pitch in the first four games of the season, Issahaku and Ayew are now set to reunite in the Black Stars squad for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger.

"He [Jordan Ayew] is always a senior player and I love playing with him. He always guides and gives you more advice and even outside and inside [on] the pitch so I’m happy," Issahaku told the media during the team's first training session on Monday.

"I think it’s going to be easier for me playing with him both in the national team and club."
