How Pastor Joe Bechem inspired me to write my new song – Esther Smith recounts

Esther Smith, one of the greatest Gospel musicians of all time in Ghana, has revealed how her colleague, Pastor Joe Bechem, inspired her to write her new song.

According to Esther Smith, her new song ‘Onyame Banbo’ featuring Morris Babyface was created after having a conversation with Pastor Joe Bechem about God’s protection.

She recounted “I was having a conversation with Pastor Joe Bechem and he was advising me about God’s protection and how my fans have missed me so much after my absence in the music scene for so long.

“He told me God’s protection is on me so I should wake up and come back to do what I started because despite all the things planned against me by the devil it couldn’t happen and it has expired due to God’s protection.

“So after engaging in that conversation with Pastor Joe Bechem that’s how I got my new song Onyame Banbo,” she revealed on Cape Coast-based Property FM.

“You know that without God’s protection like we won’t be alive by this time because every single day the devil sends all manner of temptations into our lives but it’s God’s protection that keeps us alive”.
