Mustapha Gbande, the Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has shared his perspective on why he believes Ghanaians will vote John Dramani Mahama back into power.
In an interview with Kemini Amanor on Ghana Tonight, Mustapha Gbande expressed his belief that Ghanaians are weary of the treatment they have received from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“I see hope and restoration in the eyes of Ghanaians. I see a large number of youth reinvigorated by the new hope emerging from the wind of change. Ghanaians are fed up; they believe they have had enough and are eager to experience something new,” he stated.
However, Mustapha Gbande also voiced concerns about the NDC’s ability to protect every vote on December 7th.
He referenced the NDC’s flagbearer, John Mahama, who has raised alarms about the circulation of fake ballot papers.
Gbande further criticized the NPP government, stating that due to its alleged corruption, many Ghanaians are frustrated with the current administration. He believes this discontent is reflected in the massive crowds attending NDC rallies.
