Ghanaian winger David Atanga seals move to Austrian outfit Wolfsberger AC

Austrian outfit Wolfsberger AC have completed the acquisition of Ghanaian international David Atanga in the ongoing transfer window, Footballghana.com can confirm.The 27-year-old forward joins the club on a permanent deal after ending his spell with Belgian outfit KV Oostende following the expiration of his contract.Atanga penned a two-year contract with an option to extend for a further year at the club.The enterprising winger is expected to add a new dimension to the Wolfsberger squad as they aim to make impact in the upcoming football season.The winger is not new to Austrian football having had spells with RB Salzburg, SKN St. Pölten and Admira Wacker.Atanga departed Ghana to join Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg January 2015 and spent the first one and a half years playing for FC Liefering.He also made a few appearances for FC Red Bull Salzburg in the Bundesliga and in the Champions League and Europa League qualifiers.After several loan spells in Austria and Germany, the left-footer spent the last three seasons at KV Oostende, where he scored eleven goals and provided two assists in 74 appearances.He is yet to earn his international cap with the senior national team, the...

Austrian outfit Wolfsberger AC have completed the acquisition of Ghanaian international David Atanga in the ongoing transfer window, Footballghana.com can confirm.

The 27-year-old forward joins the club on a permanent deal after ending his spell with Belgian outfit KV Oostende following the expiration of his contract.

Atanga penned a two-year contract with an option to extend for a further year at the club.
