Ghanaian winger Albert Adomah signs one-year deal with Walsall FC

Walsall FC has announced the signing of Ghanaian winger Albert Adomah on a one-year contract.The 36-year-old, known for his stints at Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest, joins the Saddlers as their sixth summer signing following his departure from Queens Park Rangers.Adomah, who spent the last four seasons with QPR, has made a remarkable impact in the Championship, becoming the record appearance holder with 528 matches. During his time with the QPR, he featured in 129 games across all competitions, including 18 appearances in the 2023/24 season, bringing his career total to an impressive 775 matches.Adomah has also played for Barnet, Bristol City, Cardiff City, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest, and Aston Villa. On the international stage, Adomah has represented Ghana 19 times, participating in the 2013 African Cup of Nations and the 2014 World Cup. He scored his first international goal in a 1-1 draw against Canada in October 2015.Adomah’s wealth of experience and proven track record make him a valuable addition to Walsall FC as they aim for success in the upcoming season.
