Ghanaian striker Nana Akosah-Bempah provided an assist to help Petrolul Ploiești beat newly promoted Unirea Slobozia 2-1 on Friday in a match from Week 6 of the Romanian Superliga.This was the 26-year-old’s first contribution in two league appearances since joining on a free transfer this summer after leaving Hapoel Acre.Akosah-Bempah played for an hour before being replaced by Ricardinho.The home side took the lead through French player Jordan Gele, who capitalized on a defensive lapse.
