Ghanaian star Jennifer Cudjoe eager to kickstart career with DC Power FC
Ghanaian midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe has expressed her enthusiasm following her signing with USL side DC Power FC."I’m really excited to join Power FC," Cudjoe stated."I want to bring the learning experience I have had throughout my career to the club and help build a great community and environment. I can’t wait to get started," she added.DC Power Football Club announced the signing of the Black Queens deputy captain, subject to league and federation approval.Jennifer Cudjoe, 30, brings extensive experience to the team, having played professionally for eight years. She began her career with Hasaacas Ladies in the Ghana Women’s Premier League in 2006.Cudjoe joins Power FC after an impressive 2023/24 season with FC Nordsjælland in Denmark’s top division. During her stint there, she made 17 appearances and contributed to the club’s Danish League title and 2023 Danish Cup victory.Prior to her time in Denmark, Cudjoe played for NJ/NY Gotham FC (formerly Sky Blue FC) in the NWSL from 2020 to 2022.
