Ghana winger Ibrahim Osman officially joins Feyenoord on loan from Brighton
Ghana international Ibrahim Osman has completed a move to Dutch outfit Feyenoord for the upcoming season.The Black Stars winger joins Feyenoord on a season-long loan from Premier League club Brighton and Hove Albion.The 19-year-old Ghanaian, who joined Brighton from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland on a five-year deal this summer, was part of the Premier League's pre-season squad and made a couple of appearances.But has been farmed out on loan in order to gain more playing time and experience before making a return to England.The loan deal does not include a buy option, and the Dutch club will cover Osman's full wages.Osman impressed during his time in Denmark, where he recorded six goals and seven assists in 26 games.This loan move to Feyenoord is seen as an opportunity for him to gain valuable experience, similar to the development paths taken by Brighton players Kaoru Mitoma and Simon Adingra, who also benefited from loan spells before joining the first team.He has already debuted for the Black Stars and is looking to cementing his place in the national team.
