Ghana Futsal Premier League returns for second season

The second edition of the Ghana Futsal Premier League kicks off on Saturday (20 July) at the Spintex Astro in Baatsonaa, Accra.

Sixteen teams will compete for the title, with Matchday One fixtures set to run from 8am to 6pm.

Defending champions San Siro City FC will begin their title defence against Adenta Youth FC.

The side made history in the inaugural competition last year, defeating AMG FC 5-1 in the final.

AMG FC, who were runners-up in the first season, will face Blessed Stars FC in their opening match.

After coming so close to glory last time, they will be eager to start strongly and challenge for the futsal championship.

Bronze medalists for the maiden edition Dacota FC will face off against Real Hearts FC in the day’s final match.
