Former Asante Kotoko captain Danlad Ibrahim rates Ghana Premier League high amid complaints

Former Asante Kotoko captain Danlad Ibrahim believes the Ghana Premier League remains competitive.Some Ghanaians over the years have said that their sudden love for foreign football to the neglect of the domestic top-flight is because the local leagues are not competitive.But the former Ghana youth international sharing his thought about the state of the Ghanaian top-flight insisted the Ghana Premier League is competitive.“The Ghana Premier League remains competitive. I can say there is no small club in the league now. The leadership of the various clubs are doing very well. Previously, some clubs were struggle to even get their own bus but the narrative has changed now”“We have the talent as a country and the coaches are also giving the upcoming players the chance to prove themselves. Things have changed and I believe our league is still competitive” he said.Danlad Ibrahim is currently a free agent after ending his eight-year spell with Asante Kotoko at the end of the season.He is expected to find himself a new club before the commencement of the 2024/25 football campaign.

Former Asante Kotoko captain Danlad Ibrahim believes the Ghana Premier League remains competitive.

Some Ghanaians over the years have said that their sudden love for foreign football to the neglect of the domestic top-flight is because the local leagues are not competitive.

But the former Ghana youth international sharing his thought about the state of the Ghanaian top-flight insisted the Ghana Premier League is competitive.
