The Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Raphael Sarfo Patrick has described as warped logic an analogy that indicates that the comeback of former US President, Donald Trump implies former President John Mahama will also emerge victorious in the December 7, 2024 polls.

He reiterated that John Mahama  will not win this year’s election and therefore must not be swayed by the various polls projecting him ahead of New Patriotic Party(NPP) flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia,

During an interview on Onua FM monitored by MyNewsGH.com, Raphael Sarfo Patrick rubbished the idea that because Donald Trump has won the elections, John Mahama will also win the elections.

According to him, the US elections and Donald Trump’s victory has nothing to do with John Mahama and the NDC.

He stated that John Mahama has a bad track record and cannot be compared to the achievements of the NPP.

“Is Kamala Harris the sister of John Mahama? Is Donald Trump related to John Mahama? Why will John Mahama be voted into power when there is a Free Senior High school?  Can’t you see the machine we use to construct our roads? Why will we go for John Mahama who will bring us Dumsor? In his era, he couldn’t even provide chalk for the students to use at school. This is his track record so don’t compare the US elections to John Mahama’s win”, Raphael Sarfo Patrick said angrily.

The NPP leader slammed John Mahama for his inability to solve the power crisis popularly known as Dumsor in his era while urging Ghanaians to stop comparing the US elections to the elections of Ghana; adding that the media should channel their concerns to the important issues of the country.
