Some parts of Dome Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region have had their voting delayed because electoral materials have not arrived at the polling centers.
Reports indicate that the polling centres, including Musuku Presby Church 1E and other adjoining polling centres, are yet to receive their election materials.
A report by TV3’s Godwin Asidigba said, “At the moment they don’t have ballot papers, boxes and indelible inks are yet to arrive at this voting centre including other centers who share the same center. So voting hasn’t started yet”.
The delays have left voters who have been in queues from dawn are peeved by the delays but will continue to wait for the electoral materials.
Managing Editor for the Insight Newspaper, Kwasi Pratt, who votes in the constituency, could not hide his anger over the development.
As of the time of filing this report, the electorates had been in the queue for over two hours.
