Cooper Roy, a linebacker with the Missouri State Bears, is currently fighting for his life following a catastrophic auto accident.
Roy was involved in a head-on collision late on Tuesday, and his condition is critical but stable.
In his ongoing fight for recovery, he has had surgery on his hands and legs.

Roy, a native of Springfield, Missouri, now residing in Fairgrove, attended Glendale High School and excelled as a pass rusher, ranking among the finest in state history.
He had an excellent first campaign at Missouri State, finishing fifth in the team’s tackle totals while recording 9 total tackles, 3 sacks, and a QB hurry for the Bears.
