Adedamola Adelabu, the Country Delegate of CFAO Mobility Ghana, has praised Ghana’s conducive environment for the growth of the automotive industry.
He highlighted the warmth and rich cultural heritage of Ghanaians and also acknowledged the government’s efforts in formulating policies to regulate and ensure the smooth operation of the sector.
In an interview with Bernard Avle on the Point of View on Channel One TV on Wednesday, Mr Adelabu stated that despite some ongoing works, the country’s stability was commendable.
He expressed that this stability would continue to bolster investor confidence and attract them to the country.
“It is not complicated. I will talk first about the people because in everything I say it’s the people that make the country, it’s the people that also make the organisation. Very lovely warm people I must say. Culture is very deep; heritage is strong and just synonymous with what we have on the other side of the coast.
“Very relatively safe I must say as a country. There is quite a lot of work in progress which is not very alien to our side of the region. But I will say it’s really the right place to be.
“Talking industries, quite a whole lot have been done by government, things really around policy formulation. We just listened to the mid-year budget review like I said a couple of works in progress but fairly I would say it is a country that is very well stable and that will also continue to drive the confidence in investors to always want to be here,” he stated.
