Aside from Akufo-Addo, nobody has been passionate about Ghana’s Education – Nana B

Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye affectionately called Nana B, the National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has argued that apart from the NPP government and President Nana Akufo-Addo no other government has been passionate about the educational sector.

During an interview on Okay FM monitored by MyNewsGH.com, Nana B stated that the NPP will win the presidential elections and also win with Majority in Parliament due to the good works implemented.

Nana B opined that a lot of Ghanaians are praising the NPP government for building the educational sector from where the previous government left off

“No government under the Fourth Republic has invested in the educational sector like Nana Addo,  Vice President Dr. Bawumia and also NAPO who was the Education Minister. Due to the implementation of Free Senior High School, about 5 million people have benefited from this project” Nana B asserted.

The NPP National Executive further argued that Dr Bawumia is about to improve what has already been done by the President, Nana Addo and also work to remove the stumbling blocks and also make  the free SHS policy work better.

“We want to go forward and not backwards like our opponent wants to do”, Nana B opined”.

The Free Senior High School (Free SHS) education policy in Ghana was a government initiative introduced in September 2017 by the current administration led by  Nana Akufo-Addo.

According to reports, about 5 million students in the space of 8 years have benefited from this project.
