The chief executive officer of the Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd has urged all stakeholders in Ghana’s electoral system to work together to foster a peaceful, transparent and credible election come 7 December.

Speaking at the launch of Asaase’s 2024 Election Nerve Centre on Wednesday (31 July), Andah said the initiative will be the ultimate half of comprehensive coverage of this year’s general elections.

The CEO of Asaase said the media group during this year’s crucial election, “will deliver real-time news, insightful analysis, dynamic discussions both on air and across all our digital media platforms.”

Andah urged the stakeholders of the country’s electoral system to share a collective responsibility to inform and empower the citizenry as this will deepen the country’s democratic process.

“Share your scorecard, vision, and policies in a balanced and fair environment,” he said.

“Our 2024 Asaase Radio Election Nerve Centre is dedicated to delivering unbiased coverage, ensuring that every voter is equipped to make their informed decision,” adding that a strong democracy begins with informed citizens.

“So, we invite all of you to join us on this journey to strengthen our democracy,” he added.

The Election Nerve Centre initiative is designed to offer in-depth analysis, real-time updates and insightful commentary on key issues and developments.

The initiative will bring to the audience of Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd across the country a comprehensive coverage of the 7 December general election.
