Anderlecht shows interest in English Ghanaian winger Jerusun Rak Sakyi
Belgian club Anderlecht is keen on securing the services of English-born Ghanaian winger Jerusun Rak Sakyi.The 21-year-old Crystal Palace right winger, who also excels as a left winger and attacking midfielder, has caught the attention of Anderlecht, according to English media reports.Rak Sakyi, who trained at Chelsea and Crystal Palace, also spent a loan spell at Charlton two seasons ago. He first appeared on Crystal Palace’s first-team squad as an unused substitute against Chelsea on April 10, 2021, and signed his first professional contract with the club two days later. He made his debut as a substitute in a 3–0 defeat to Chelsea on August 14, 2021, in the Premier League.Last season, despite missing several months due to a hamstring injury, he scored four goals and provided an assist in 11 games. Rak Sakyi, who has five caps for England U-20, is also attracting interest from Lyon, Leeds, Burnley, Sheffield United, and Southampton.Anderlecht's potential deal does not currently include a purchase option. Rak Sakyi’s contract with Crystal Palace runs until June 2027, and his market value is approximately two million euros.
