Former President of Ghana and flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama believes Ghanaian youth are not ready to try an inexperienced leader.
He posits that the country’s state is calling for an experienced hand to ensure its problems are addressed.
John Dramani Mahama was addressing Chiefs in the Ada Traditional Area on Tuesday, August 27 when he made this known.
“we don’t have time, Ghana does not have the luxury of time, our youth do not have the luxury of time because our youth are the future and they are also our present and they don’t have the luxury to trial and error.
“This one will come and try, dump us in a ditch then the driver’s mate will come and take it and try again and go and crush us even further into the ditch.
“We need experience, we need one who has done it before, we need the licensed driver to take over the vehicle and move the vehicle towards where God has said we should be.”
