Some eight Members of Parliament are sponsoring the fight against state capture in Parliament.
These Members of Parliament are sponsoring a Private Members’ Bill aimed at prohibiting politicians, politically exposed persons, judges, high-ranking security officials and other state functionaries from purchasing state assets.
The Members of Parliament are from both sides of the house and believe that state capture must be a thing of the past.
The Public Assets Protection Bill, 2024 has the following sponsors:
