2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers: Otto Addo submits Black Stars squad to GFA for Angola and Niger games

Black Stars coach, Otto Addo has submitted his squad to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the upcoming games of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. Ghana, who have been housed in Group F alongside Angola, Niger and Sudan will get their qualifying games underway next month.The four-time African champions will open their campaign with games against Angola and Niger.The Black Stars will host the Palancas Negras at the Baba Yara Stadium on September 5 before travelling to play Niger on September 9.Ahead of the game, Otto Addo has submitted his squad for the first two games to the Executive Council of the country's football governing body.Footballghana.com also understand that no Ghana Premier League player has been included in the squad for the games.Otto Addo is expected to parade a strong squad for the two games as they hope to secure qualification for the tournament slated to be hosted in Morocco next year.The Black Stars are hoping to continue their impressive performance against Angola and Niger having recorded back-to-back wins against Mali and Central African Republic in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers in June earlier this year.

Black Stars coach, Otto Addo has submitted his squad to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the upcoming games of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.
