Ghana coach Otto Addo expressed his frustration after the Black Stars conceded a late equalizer in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Niger.Otto Addo lamented that the team had trained specifically to prevent such goals but failed to execute during the match.Speaking to Ghana Football Association Communications, Addo said, "We had a quite cheap goal against Angola and now again, I am just really, really disappointed and we have to be on our toes to defend these situations better. I don't know what to say more because I am really, really disappointed. We talked too much, we trained exactly in this kind of situation also and I am really disappointed to see the team concede a goal like this."Ghana had taken the lead in the 44th minute with a thunderous shot from defender Alidu Seidu, assisted by Mohammed Kudus. However, Niger equalized in the 81st minute through Oumar Sako, assisted by Moussa Kassa Moudou.Ghana, having already lost 1-0 to Angola in their first Group F game at the Baba Yara Stadium, now faces the challenge of bouncing back in a crucial doubleheader against Sudan.
