Ghana's captain, Thomas Partey, has praised the atmosphere at the Baba Yara Stadium as “amazing” ahead of the Black Stars' 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying opener against Angola, scheduled for later today.Partey expressed his appreciation for the fans' unwavering support and urged them to turn out in full force as the team aims to start their Group F campaign with a strong performance.“The supporters have been really amazing,” he told SuperSport in an interview. “We have played most of our games here and I believe we have won all of them and they have been fantastic.“I really love playing here but I hope they will continue with their support and if we one day play in Accra, we will get the same fans,” he added.The match will kick off at 16:00 GMT.
