2024/25 Ghana Premier League: Nsoatreman to host Berekum Chelsea in first Bono derby

Ghana FA Cup champions Nsoatreman FC will host Berekum Chelsea in a series of Bono Derby matches during the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.The game is scheduled for Match Day 3, between September 20 and September 23, 2024, at Nana Kromansah Park.Nsoatreman FC will face Bechem United in their next Bono Derby on Match Day 9, between November 1 and 4, 2024, before concluding their first round of regional derbies against Aduana on between November 15 and 18, 2024.Having won the Ghana FA Cup in only their second season in the Ghana Premier League, Nsoatreman FC will also compete in the CAF Confederation Cup.Last season, the club finished fourth in the league with 50 points, 11 points behind champions FC Samartex.The team hopes that competing in the Ghana Premier League, the Ghana FA Cup, and the CAF Confederation Cup will not adversely affect their performance.The club has also seen significant changes, with head coach Maxwell Konadu moving to South Africa and being replaced by Yaw Preko.
