Rock City Hotel has asked SSNIT to publish all documents of their bid for the 60% shares of four hotels belonging to it.
This comes after the hospitality company withdrew its bid to purchase 60% shares in four of SSNIT’s hotels.
Rock City cited negativity surrounding the bid and fact that SSNIT hadn’t done its stakeholder consultation very well to allow for the sale as reasons for withdrawing their bid.
Prior to the withdrawal, Organized Labour had declared a nationwide strike for all public sector workers.
This was a move to get SSNIT to rescind its decision to sell its shares after the National Pensions Regulatory Authority had cleared the Social Security and National Insurance Trust to sell off their shares.
